We had a wonderful Light Up Winter Candlelit Concert on Saturday 23rd Nov. Many thanks to those who donated and came to listen to the Choir and our super guests, Suzanne Savage and Ruth McGinley.
Sing for Joy (hosted by Antrim Community Choir and led by our Choir Leader, Una McCann) was a wonderful event (15 June 2024) – Choirs from all over, including Dungannon, Ormeau, Ballymena, Glasgow. The singers were taught songs by the different leaders, Una McCann, Shona Brown (SoundRoutes Singers), Máiréad Duffy (Gathered Voices), Donal McCrisken (Cavehill Community Choir), Clare Galway (Féile Women’s). Several of the choirs performed from their own repertoire.
After a lovely super we had an amazing concert given by The Henry Girls who generously donated prizes to the Raffle (to raise money for Metal for life NI). The evening ended with an Open Mic where once more Community Choir members demonstrated their great talents.
The Choir had a wonderful time at our concert with LORE on Saturday 4th May 2024, at the Old Courthouse, Antrim – check out our Facebook site to see Lore and ourselves perform: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1136866674182016
